It is not too early to teach your child how to budget money even in prek and kinder. The earlier they understand the purpose and benefits of money the better. However be sure to make the discussion age appropriate. You can be creative and use stickers as money, create fake money, have your child earn money for cors, and graduate to real money when you notice they are ready. Be sure to use the appropriate words to discuss financial terms. The vocabulary will be the most important way to understand later.
